Dr. Fortin
After completing both his undergraduate and graduate studies at Western Michigan University, Dr. Fortin attended medical school at Michigan State University. After successfully completing his medical degree studies, he sought specialty training and pursued a four-year residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Later, he gained advanced sub-specialty fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Imaging at DCM in New Orleans.
Currently, Dr. Joseph D. Fortin practices in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is the Medical Director of STAR and a Clinical Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine. His fields of specialization include: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Interventional Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Sports Medicine, Electrodiagnostics and Bone Densitometry.
