I came to STAR because of severe pain that made it so I could hardly stand up. An MRI showed I had a compound fracture to my L3, so my son located several doctors who could treat my pain without spinal surgery. After my consultation with Dr. Fortin, I was so at ease with his knowledge and expertise that I ended up canceling my consultation with the other doctor since I felt I didn’t need a second opinion. Within a week of my appointment I was able to come back in for a kyphoplasty and have my fracture repaired with bone cement. By the time I was in recovery the bone cement already hardened, and I felt immediate relief and had no difficulties standing afterwards.

I was personally told by two different orthopedic doctors that complete knee replacement was the only cure for my injured, arthritic knee. A Life Changing Three Days

“Since 2003, I was not able to do anything. I was on oxygen; could barely take a shower. Now I can mow 5 acres of grass and weeds, shampoo carpet; just about anything I want. I wear oxygen only at night. I sleep 6-8 hours a night, before only 2-3 hours if I was lucky. The program works. Dr. Fortin and staff did things for me that the best doctors in the country couldn’t do.
It had been recommended before but I didn’t listen. I got really bad. Dr. Fortin put me on a diet and in 3 days my whole life changed.
