What is back pain?
The Georgetown University Health Policy Institute says nearly 65 million Americans have reported incidents of back pain. Approximately 8% of all American adults deal with chronic back pain that limits their daily activities and reduces their quality of life.
The condition has become so prevalent that even when you put a group of strangers in a room, they’re likely to participate in a conversation about it.
The actual type of back pain treatment differs depending on the underlying case. For example, some people experience bouts of a sharp, shooting pain while others might feel a persistent, dull ache. It classifies as chronic back pain treatment when it lasts for at least 12 weeks straight.
Either way, it’s best to address the root cause of your back pain symptoms before it takes a toll on your everyday life.
